My husband and I recently stayed at 'Little Silver House' ...I wish I could say it was a home away from home...but my home isn't anywhere near as lovely and my cooking isn't as good as Paula's! We had a wonderful time ....Bill and Paula ....most welcoming and genuine...

...welcome tea and home-baked biscuits upon arrival...hearty breakfast ....roaring fireplace ....amazing views ....everything about 'Little Silver House' was special; and the attention to detail overwhelming.

...it's quite something when you find a place...that surpasses all your expectations and for which no amount of photographs or descriptions can do justice.

...we're so taken with the place that we've decided to return for a long weekend in the Spring!

My biggest thanks go to Paula and Bill for making what looked like being a hectic & stressful weekend for us, into an oasis of calm.

I stumbled across your websites a few weeks ago – and let’s just say that I am glad that I did. I wanted to take my 3 girlfriends away for the weekend and we came across Wincanton www.wincantonfarmhouse.uniquehomestays.com On the website it looked lovely. In reality it blew all of us away. It was the most beautiful place ever. When you said that all the homes are personally hosted by the owners, who will welcome you like old friends deserving of lavish pampering, fine cuisine and exquisite lodgings and that they will share their local knowledge and make your stay an intimate and memorable one – you were not joking.

Suellen Dainty was our host and she could not do have done enough for all four of us. She is a remarkable woman and all four of us have nothing but the utmost respect for her. Nothing was too much for her and her suggestions for our day out were spot on. All our expectations were surpassed and we were sad to leave on the Sunday (25th February 2007).

We arrived a bit late on Friday (23rd February 2007) and in heavy rain but she did the sweetest thing by coming out to meet us with huge umbrellas, a huge warm home and hot tea and coffee. This was after she called us to check that we were ok. What more could we ask for. Personal touches like that are extremely rare and to be honest none of us had experience such thoughtfulness (expect from our own mothers!). The weekend simply went up from there on. We all had a fantastic time and already we know that we all want to go back – either as a group of 4 again or with our husbands and children.

We left Wincanton Farmhouse with a lot of knowledge, great interior design ideas, great memories or great conversations and great food, flowers and a desire to revisit Suellen. I would recommend anyone thinking of visiting the region of Somerset to enquire availability at Wincanton Farmhouse. It will be an experience they will never forget – we had a ball!!! Suellen has seriously raised the service bar!!

Sarah - I personally think your service offering is great so thank you for setting up your business so that I was able to find Suellen. Both my friends I will use your service again.

Well here i am back in harness and already looking wistfully out the window to the South West and reliving the last 2 weeks!! Seriously Sarah, Emma and I would like to thank you and your organisation for giving us probably our finest ever holiday. It may seem a bit grand to rate a holiday in Cornwall above all of the places we have been lucky enough to holiday in but in truth it was all we had wanted and more. Malcolm and the Blue Hayes were outstanding and Barry and Kay absolutely wonderful hosts. Your part in this has been no less pivotal and i have become possibly the most active element in your advertising budget!! Your e-mail address has been fired out to everyone i can think of and we are already planning a return visit to the Blue Hayes in November. It is going to be extremely difficult to get the pleasure of the last 2 weeks out of my system and get back into work mode but with our first child due in just 3 1/2 weeks there is plenty to focus on!
